Centauri is currently seeking candidates with JAVA Development experience to join our dynamic, rapidly growing team in a flexible and exciting work environment.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the analysis of business, engineering, and scientific problems, and the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, and programs in the delivery of practical systems solutions. They should have experience with hands-on Java development that includes detailed software design, and developing code to implement designs as well as experience debugging, unit testing, and integrating the applications.

Requirements include:

US Citizenship and eligibility for Security Clearance

3 to 5 years experience with J2EE, preferably using WebSphere Application Server

Ability to communicate clearly end effectively both orally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications include:
Design and development experience using Rational tools (WSAD, RAD) or Eclipse

Database programming using SQL and JDBC with DB2 or Oracle

Experience with OOAD and UML to develop and document design artifacts

Able to translate high-level system requirements into detailed
requirements and to formulate a design that satisfies those requirements


BA/BS Degree preferred but relevant experience may be considered in leiu of degree.
