We’re looking for you, a front end developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to build an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency.

This is an opportunity to meet challenges in the Intelligence Community by collaborating with a development team to build a tool with user centric design. You’ll work with UI and UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using tools like React, Angular, or Ember. You’ll work with the development team to ensure accessibility for all users by analyzing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. You Have:

-3+ years of experience with web design and front-end development or SharePoint, WordPress design and development

-Experience with developing, maintaining, and updating the content of web sites

-Experience with developing code and maintaining web-based applications

-Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and cross-browser compatibility issues

-Experience with UX and user-centered design

-Experience with web development libraries, including jQuery and Bootstrap

-Experience with responsive design

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 

-Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have:

-Experience in the intelligence community (IC) preferred​

-Experience with SharePoint Designer 2013​ workflows

-Experience with content management systems, including Joomla!, WordPress, and SharePoint

-Knowledge of information architecture, workflow design, information management, and governance for site usability

-Knowledge of evolving web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3

-Ability to display a portfolio showcasing broad design and development competencies, including usability, UI design, development best practices, and comprehension of web technologies

-Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment

-Ability to build trust with clients and maintain excellent working relationships with onsite staff, including daily contact with client and leadership staff​

-Ability to advise and assist with a design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings​

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
