The Challenge:

Do you want to build and deliver a powerhouse system that will modernize communications in the Air Force? You know a good tool is more than just a nice-looking interface + data and you need the right combination of programming expertise to build a user focused solution. As a software developer, you’ll deliver solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for someone like you to build and enhance communication systems on an aircraft from a production-ready system.

As a software developer on our team, you’ll work directly with your customers to overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like domain driven design alongside open source frameworks and tools like Spring Boot. You’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques to implement system improvements and mentor teammates. Using Agile lifecycle development you’ll build a more secure communication system. You’ll code and deliver the solution that supports the current architecture and operating environment, as well as drive future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

5+ years of experience with Radio Frequency (RF) and RF systems

Experience with RF test equipment including, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, vector signal analyzer, and vector signal generator

Experience in RF-System simulation environments

Experience with using RF Test equipment for RF validation and debugging

Experience with key RF performance metrics, including NF, IP2, IP3, EVM, and SNIRet and the tradeoffs involved in practical approaches to achieving high performance

Knowledge of communications theory, Radio architecture, and signal processing algorithms.

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics

Nice If You Have:

Experience in RF System modeling of RF/Analog impairments, Correlating radio behavioral model to system measurements

Experience with RF measurements and writing associated test plans.

Experience with Antenna/EM simulation tools is a plus.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
