Location: Leatherhead based, with some flexible on remote working and occasional travel (UK-wide)

Contract Type: Full Time (40hrs Per Week), Temporary with the potential to go Permanent

What are we looking for

We are now looking for an experienced recruiter to join our Government Solutions EMEA team. You will be able to work in a fast moving and demanding environment and comfortable with some ambiguity. We are looking for a recruiter who can offer a business partner approach to recruitment, working closely with hiring managers and project leads to determine the best methods to attract and source talent. This position would suit applicants who have had previous experience in a large commercial business with structured HR processes and policies.

You will be required to undertake Security Clearance as the role works with varying government clients and secure information.

What you’ll bring:

Proficiency in candidate sourcing methodology through sources such as Social Media, and managing direct hires using Applicant Tracking Systems, ideally Workday

Experience of building Talent Pools and Candidate Pipelines, using ATS tools and/or LinkedIn Recruiter

Experience of competency-based or skills-based interviewing

Experience of supporting with employee on-boarding and induction

Exceptional planning, time management & organisational skills

Attention to detail & passionate about delivering an exceptional service to candidates, internal stakeholders and external partners

The ability to work with multiple tasks simultaneously and to deliver to deadlines

Strong knowledge of the current job market & challenges, including remuneration

Strong stakeholder management skill, with the ability to elicit role requirements from hiring managers and manage candidate expectations

Proactive and self-motivated approach to work

Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Ability to use LinkedIn recruiter & be familiar with all advertising on the site.

Experience in a similar, large, global company environment would be advantageous but not essential

Whilst this is in-house recruitment, experience in an agency recruitment arena would also be advantageous

Core Responsibilities and Duties

Recruitment of a range of roles in Commercial, Project Controls & Project Management, particularly in sectors including white-collar Engineering and Construction, Nuclear and Facilities Management

Use of social media (LinkedIn etc) to source and market map across the talent market(s)

Support behavioural and competency-based or skills-based interviewing

Management of candidates through complex recruitment processes

Liaise with Managers regarding their resourcing requirements and provide guidance and support

Drafting and developing high quality job descriptions

Interviewing candidates alongside Hiring Managers, using behavioural and competency-based interview techniques

Supporting broader Recruitment and Resource Management activity and process improvement across the wider business.
