Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Writer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in Washington, DC.  Candidate will provide Design, Build, and Sustain Administration Guides and Operate User Guides for Cyber Security Tools that will be continuously updated and be considered “living” documentation.  The documentation developed will also be used for on-the-job training and knowledge transfer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist senior technical writing staff with writing documentation to include Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Administration Guides (including the Design, Build, and Sustain Documentation), User Guides, Operations, Technical Manuals, Tutorials, Specifications and Help Systems Provide key deliverables of the continuously updated Design, Build, and Sustain Administration Guides and Operate User Guides for each Cyber Security Tool Assist senior technical writing staff with maintaining release management documentation and information as part of the enterprise change and release management processes Research, write, edit, and proofread information for use in documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications Provide timely editing support for reports and other documentation generated by the team Interview staff to collect information and specification Collaborate with technical leads and team members to produce quality documentation Minimal local travel may be required between government customer site (Washington, DC) and contractor site (Springfield, VA) Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience Possess IAT Level II certification Prior experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with SAFe Agile Scrum Development methodologies with a cross-functional team approach Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, etc. Have writing and editing skills and experience, specifically focused on Government technical documentation Possess DoD 8570.01-M Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) – Infrastructure Support (IS) certification (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND) Security Clearance Requirements: Current TS/SCI clearance (or active TS with SCI eligibility) with a Polygraph, or ability to obtain a Polygraph before starting employment Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
