Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Technical Writer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in the Washington, DC area.  Candidate will be responsible for writing weekly status reports, administrative documentation, and ensure validity and accuracy of documentation developed by the engineering / technical team.  All artifacts will be delivered electronically and posted to Government-owned program management portals or file shares.  Weekly status reporting will be provided via a dashboard that includes planned Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs); unplanned outages; After-Action Reports (AARs); and planned ASIs. The dashboard must be dynamic (continually updated) to forecast future releases and allow Government to view alerts for all Cyber Security Tools in the enterprise. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide weekly metrics and reports of customer support activities Write documentation to include Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Administration Guides (including the Design, Build, and Sustain Documentation), User Guides, Operations, Technical Manuals, Tutorials, Specifications and Help Systems Maintain release management documentation and information as part of the enterprise change and release management processes Provide input to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) reviews Research, write, edit, and proofread information for use in documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications Provide timely editing support for reports and other documentation generated by the team Interview staff to collect information and specification Collaborate with technical leads and team members to produce quality documentation Minimal local travel may be required between government customer site (Washington, DC) and contractor site (Springfield, VA) Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of relevant experience Possess IAT Level II certification Prior experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with SAFe Agile Scrum Development methodologies with a cross-functional team approach Possess DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH) Possess DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level III certification (currently CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP) Possess DoD 8570.01-M Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) – Infrastructure Support (IS) certification (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND) Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, etc. Have writing and editing skills and experience, specifically focused on Government technical documentation Security Clearance Requirements: Current TS/SCI clearance (or active TS with SCI eligibility) with a Polygraph, or ability to obtain a Polygraph before starting employment Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
