ManTech is looking for a Senior SharePoint Content Designer that can demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and the ability to work in an environment with changing priorities. He/she will work with Records Management and Information Management teams in maintaining the organization’s existing term store as well as updating/creating managed metadata terms and term sets.  Collaborate with customers to discuss their information management needs, develop the appropriate taxonomies, and make recommendations on relevant metadata terms.

The position is available for partial remote.

Position Responsibilities:

Support content design of Microsoft SharePoint 2016/2019 collaboration environments

Strong written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, strong organizational skills

Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

Excellent attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables

A high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills

Experience with providing analysis and support to science and technology or advance research and development programs preferred

Serves as the technical point of contact for use of SharePoint

SharePoint technical expert and customer point of contact for large site presence

Managed Metadata term store administration

Taxonomist specialist coordinating with customers the design of new libraries to facilitate use and drive efficiencies

Experience with data organization and governance programs in large organizations.

Experience with large/ corporate-wide initiatives surrounding Taxonomy, Ontology, and Governance. Experience in helping to facilitate agreement among diverse, very large groups.

Engage and communicate with stakeholders across both business and technology functions; adept at creating complex, analytical presentations and effectively communicating analysis.

Data Quality Measurement / Metrics / Structured Processes / Methodology Development & Training

Familiarity with Metadata Definition Data Management Standards (ISO 11179) and Taxonomy & Thesaurus Construction (ANSI/NISO z39)

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred. Work experience or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for education requirements

5 years of related experience

DoD 8570 Certification required (IAT Level II required)

DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire

3+ years of SharePoint Designer experience

Clearance Requirements:

Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the past 6 years.  Candidate must be open to CI poly.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75%

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.

The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
