Cyber Threat Analyst
CACI has an exciting opportunity for talented cyberspace analysts provide military capabilities analysis on foreign ground forces required by warfighting commanders, the force modernization and research and development communities, DoD, and National policymakers. Our team supports the DoD’s assessing foreign systems including communication networks to identify vulnerabilities and counter cyberspace threats.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Comprehensive research and analysis focused on foreign cyber capabilities, cyber threats to system and software enabled systems to include networks and interconnected devices.
Analytical efforts will leverage available threat system intelligence in order to characterize the capabilities and identify vulnerabilities of a foreign offensive, defensive or Command, Control, Cyber, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) threat systems.
Apply knowledge of people, processes, and technology to understand cyber threats to US systems.
Identify customer requirements, Intelligence Community (IC) priorities, intelligence gaps, collection opportunities, and new technology or system developments to plan analytical products.
Develop intelligence products and performs expansive cyberspace intelligence analyst duties
Possess a thorough understanding of intelligence analytic concepts to monitor, assess, and report on cyberspace operations, capabilities, and vulnerabilities
Develop reports and briefings
Develop analytic approaches and recommendations to problems and situations for which data are incomplete, controversial, or which no precedence exists
Monitor, track, detect, and analyze cyber threat activities
Required Qualifications:
Active in scope DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience in applying knowledge of the principles, concepts, and techniques of cybersecurity to produce targeted S&TI products to describe foreign cyber capabilities to target US computer networks and weapon systems.
Strong working knowledge of the cyber-kill chain, cyber-threat vectors and typical malware and threat actor behavior (TTPs) and ability to identify cybersecurity issues, configurations and incidents across a wide range of systems, devices, and computing environments
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field.
