Mission Essential is currently seeking Targeting Officersto support an operational and analytical program for anIntelligence Community customer in the WashingtonMetropolitan Area. Targeting Officers serve an analyticalrole in applying methodologies, technology, and tools,to identify, extract, and analyze critical intelligenceinformation. Targeting Officers query, assess and analyzeinformation, systems and data to identify informationof interest; sustain and increase knowledge of complexgeographic and/or functional areas or issues; developplans and approaches to support requirements; aggregateand distill complex data, relationships, and informationinto succinct and effective language to inform decisions;generate supporting research and relevant products toadvance projects and the production of reports; develop,sustain, evolve and apply relevant skills to projects;perform analysis and support to client personnel, toinclude coordination, documentation, and progressmonitoring/reporting; adhere to, and incorporate relevantregulatory and policy issues in the performance of targetingduties; and use open source, GOTS, and COTS tools andcapabilities to manage and manipulate information.A $1,000 referral incentive will be paid forany referred candidate that Mission Essential employs on this program.

Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance withpolygraph• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (or five years ofrelevant work experience)• Demonstrated experience in the IC performing similartargeting work• Knowledge and understanding of the IntelligenceCommunity’s operational mission• Experience drafting and producing intelligence products,including cables• Ability to prepare and deliver effective briefings• Ability to work well on a team or independently• Professional-level foreign language capability a plusForeign field experience from at least one PCS tour orextensive TDY experience of comparable duration• Certification in intelligence operations tradecraft
