Perspecta’s Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.
On behalf of Perspecta Enterprise Solutions, this position will support one of our Government clients for infrastructure services that includes cloud, security, network, program management, and operations and maintenance. This position will support the infrastructure Dedicated Cloud services in support of IT Modernization efforts. This includes supporting legacy applications and databases and continuing to consolidate disparate Legacy IT Enterprise capabilities and enhancing the underlying infrastructure to support the legacy applications, and provide a cloud native/centric environment for all new IT projects and objectives. This is a senior level position that requires someone with good leadership and hands-on experience managing a large and complex IT environment. Working as expert and in collaboration with other team members to ensure the stability and operational efficiency of the infrastructure environment. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.
Requires 10 years experience or BS/BA with a minimum 6 years experience
This position requires the following qualifications and experience:
Ability to assess cloud systems to identify potential weaknesses or problems and upgrade software and hardware systems in order to ensure optimal performance and to prevent system issues or security vulnerabilities
Able to lead remediation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for security administration for cloud services in a multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environment
Able to support application security incident response activities (including detection, analysis, containment, response, and prevention procedures)
In application, infrastructure, and network security, along with penetration testing
to integrate security requirements best practices into workflows and services for teams throughout the organization.
Scripting automation using Python & Bash.
Designing secure architectures in accordance with relevant regulatory controls (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO-27001/2, etc.)
With security response, monitoring and auditing
Creating and testing a disaster recovery plan and platform for cloud infrastructure
Performing deployment, administration, management, configuration, testing, and integration tasks related to the cloud security platforms
Ascertaining and analyzing existing and new cloud security needs for the data center, mobility, network and storage markets
Evaluating vendor security posture
Creating guidelines and standards for secure use of cloud technologies
Assisting the InfoSec team with addressing cloud-related vulnerabilities
