Perspecta’s Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.  

Responsibilities

Lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using engineering expertise. Plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. Responsible for partnering across a wide variety of functions internally and for external customers to solve challenges problems in cloud computing. Will work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure rapid and accurate resolution of technical challenges. Oversees the technical integration, platform adoption, and optimization of critical projects from start to finish. Extensive solutions-oriented experience is needed with a comprehensive understanding of Cloud technology to deliver unmatched business value to our customers. Guide a multidisciplinary team through development of a complex product from inception to end-of-life in a very fast-paced and demanding environment. Prioritizing and creating product requirements documents to synthesize strategic solutions to interdependent and broad problems for the solutions engineering team. Establish roadmap and key project milestones for concurrent engagements, advocate internally for product features and sales direction, and proactively identify technical dependencies and roadblocks to mitigate risks and ensure successful execution of projects. Recommend cloud solutions by using your technical breadth across multiple areas, and manage strategic alliances among Google and partners/customers to promote adoption and interoperability of their existing applications and infrastructure solutions to Google Cloud Platform. Deliver best practices papers, tutorials, blog articles and technical project presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders. Drive partner advisory board initiatives. Identify new product features and feature gaps, provide guidance on existing product issues, and collaborate with Solutions Architects in solution creation to influence the growth of Cloud Platform. Experience with modern web technologies: HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript; and programming languages: C++, Python, Java, Go, PHP.

Qualifications

Requires BA/BS with 12 to15 years, with at least six plus years as a manager. Incumbent will have a specialized knowledge in one or more fields of disciplines and general knowledge in a number of others.
