The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation’s defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.
The Imagery Analyst is responsible for analysis of all-source data in a multi-intelligence area to produce executive-level reports relevant to Intelligence Operations. Develops targets and target systems for joint lethal and/ or non-lethal engagements. Develops target nominations, creates database records, and databases target intelligence products. Subject matter expert in the intelligence analysis to produce imagery-derived graphic products and reports and publish for distribution Leads research of all-source data and assists other intelligence analysts in the operation and use of intelligence tools. Conducts signal, imagery, and multi-source intelligence analysis that requires fundamental imagery interpretation skills including basic plotting, map reading, image orientation for stereo viewing, identification of equipment and objects for defense analysis, and Army systems identification. Uses various sensors on intelligence platforms including radar and spectral imagery sources to support intelligence operations. Produces all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assists with combat assessment requirements. Conducts collateral damage estimation, performs target list management, target strategy development, and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements. Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. Specific Responsibilities include:
Maintain liaison with counterparts throughout the Joint and National Intelligence community and in other agencies and organizations.
Maintain situational awareness of diplomatic, military, social, economic, intelligence, infrastructure, scientific, and technical developments within assigned area/team in order to produce effective, time- sensitive analysis and imagery.
Review, develop, analyze, and maintain imagery products in direct intelligence support to intelligence operation teams, senior staff officers, and policymakers in support of 1st Io Command and supported unit missions
Plan and support the integration of information operations and supporting imagery into Joint and Service component exercises, experiments, and training events
Maintain proficiency on tools, databases, and websites to collect and analyze imagery and coordinate specialized training requirements to support 1st Io Command information operations.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
At least five years’ experience in conducting analysis and open source research supporting DoD or IC customer, Plus;
Demonstrated experience intelligence collection process, multi-spectral imagery exploitation to support real-time missions and responding flexibly and dynamically to ad-hoc support requests
Demonstrated experience in creating custom, mission-specific, imagery products, photo maps, and imagery-derived shape files
Demonstrated success utilizing digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, GIS software, geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills and experience working in a very dynamic and demanding work environment
Demonstrated leadership supporting open source research and strong proficiency in IO Planning; plus either or both of the follow:
Army Information Operations Planners Course Certification
Joint Information Operations Planners Course Certification
Seven years’ experience in conducting Information Operations, Intelligence analysis and/or open source research supporting DoD or IC customer with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years working within Information Operations.
